While on-screen it might seem like Paul Heyman is doing all he can to get Brock Lesnar a rematch, the RAW Executive Producer might be one the reasons why his client isn't in the title shot anymore.

Sportskeeda's very own, Tom Colohue reports on Dropkick DiSKussions Podcast that Heyman was not in favour of keeping the title on Lesnar. He wants to work with a fighting champion and knows that it is not possible with Brock.

Colohue said: "At this point, Vince McMahon is not in charge of the direction of this particular feud. Paul Heyman is in charge of RAW now. Paul Heyman knows that you can't have someone vanishing with the title so long. He's seen it; he's seen the effect of it."

It clear that Heyman will continue as Lesnar's advocate on screen but his backstage role will not be making his client happy.
