5 Reasons why Brock Lesnar is the WWE's biggest heel today

Lesnar is WWE’s biggest, baddest Superstar. Without a doubt.

#3 Characterization

Brock Lesnar mauling John Cena, the biggest babyface in the company

Every time Brock Lesnar decides to grace the WWE with his presence, he is touted as the ‘Conqueror’, the ‘One in 21-1’ or the Beast Incarnate – amongst many other ominous and dangerous sounding monikers – by his advocate Paul Heyman.

And unfailingly, he leaves behind a trail of destruction to justify the lofty praises that Heyman sings.

The Undertaker, John Cena, Dean Ambrose and Randy Orton are some of the Superstars that can attest to that. While the audience cheers Lesnar sometimes, purely for the awe-inspiring badassery, it is also painfully obvious that the bulk of the names that he has dismantled are babyfaces.

Pro-wrestling has a term to describe such a character; a character that indiscriminately lays all who step to him, to waste. And it’s called a monster heel.
