Last year, Owens was very candid about what he hoped to accomplish in WWE once he had been called up to the main roster.
He spoke about how he had wished to work a program with both Undertaker and Lesnar. While a match with the Dead Man does not look to be part of his future, a program with Lesnar for the Universal Heavyweight Title is a strong possibility.
I know WWE is working toward a feud with Roman Reigns, but Lesnar’s appeal and the idea of “old bully” vs. “new bully” must have been talked about behind closed doors. Watching the current Raw champion take a ride to Suplex City would have the fans screaming in delight and it might be one of the better matches of 2017.
It could even headline WrestleMania 33.
