#1 Title not on the line
![Keep in mind Brock Lesnar's WWE Title isn't even on the line.](https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2020/01/e7e4e-15786236734771-800.jpg?w=190 190w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2020/01/e7e4e-15786236734771-800.jpg?w=720 720w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2020/01/e7e4e-15786236734771-800.jpg?w=640 640w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2020/01/e7e4e-15786236734771-800.jpg?w=1045 1045w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2020/01/e7e4e-15786236734771-800.jpg?w=1200 1200w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2020/01/e7e4e-15786236734771-800.jpg?w=1460 1460w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2020/01/e7e4e-15786236734771-800.jpg?w=1600 1600w, https://statico.sportskeeda.com/editor/2020/01/e7e4e-15786236734771-800.jpg 1920w)
While WWE has put the WWE Title on the line in the past during Royal Rumble matches, that doesn't seem to be the case this time around. In fact, it almost seems like WWE is putting Brock Lesnar in the Royal Rumble match as a way to avoid defending his title, and instead focusing on dream encounters with several Superstars.
Where these dream encounters ultimately lead to and how they affect upcoming storylines remains to be seen, but it's probably not going to last very long. Beyond that, with Lesnar's title not on the line and him basically competing in order to not have an opponent at WrestleMania 36, it doesn't need to go on very long either.
In the end Lesnar is a big name and no matter what he does, it's going to garner a certain level of attention. With that being said, the title not being on the line seems to point to WWE wanting to get him out of the match relatively quickly after some kind of surprise elimination.
