Let’s be honest here: WWE might be making a lot of money right now but the product that they are putting out is often subpar and leaves the fans with a bad taste in the mouth.

Almost every long-time wrestling fan acknowledge the fact that the Attitude Era was the best time in the WWE as the company had some of the best storyline feuds at the time.

So why were they so good at the time? One word: Competition. WCW and WWE/F had Monday Night Wars between each other that kept both the companies on their toes. Both knew that a little slip-up could result in losing the war. Since WCW faded to dust, WWE have had a free reign and once that happens, things start to be taken for granted.

If Punk joins AEW, the product would be stronger in their war with WWE, which would mean that there would be competition – and that would be the best thing to happen in the world of pro-wrestling.
