#3 Daniel Bryan really loves the art of professional wrestling
I would hereby like to remind you guys about an article I'd written in August of this year, about an out-of-character interview (shoot interview) featuring Shinsuke Nakamura. The interview which took place a few years ago was a part of Nakamura's autobiography, wherein The Artist criticized Brock Lesnar's run alongside him in NJPW -- noting that he felt Lesnar doesn't respect the business. You can read the details on what Nakamura said about Lesnar by clicking this link.
Now, I'd like to clarify the fact that by no means am I insinuating that Lesnar doesn't respect the business. However, by Lesnar's own admission, it's no secret that he only performs for the WWE because of the money he earns and isn't really interested in much else. In fact, even in his MMA career, Lesnar has often stated that he doesn't really care about trophies and belts, but only competes to use his skills, improve his martial arts knowledge, and most importantly, for the millions and millions of dollars!
On the other hand, before he received medical clearance from the WWE in March of this year, Daniel Bryan -- whose previous WWE contract ended on September 1st, 2018 -- often said that he would gladly wrestle in the indies for considerably lower pay, if WWE continued to use him only as a GM rather than allowing him to wrestle again.
Bryan loves this sport, and the sport loves him...
