The New Day consists of three extremely talented WWE Superstars. Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston can tear it up in the ring when the bell rings. Anyone who's seen their series of matches with The Usos can attest to this. Unfortunately, their shtick also makes them a joke in the eyes of many.
I mean if one goes from cereal to ice cream to pancakes as your gimmick, it's impossible to see him as a serious contender for the WWE Championship, isn't it? The comedy acts have always traditionally been relegated to the mid-card. As much as The New Day has lengthened Kingston's career, it may have also hurt him.

Ultimately, I hope that Kofi Kingston becomes WWE Champion someday. I'd not mind him winning the title at Fastlane either, to be quite honest.
I just think that Bryan will remain Champion.
