Whether it's been miscues in the ring, where Ambrose has accidentally been knocked out by a Superman punch from Roman Reigns, or McIntyre exchanging words with him backstage and convincing him to go his separate way or even when Ambrose stormed off, when Rollins called him a lunatic, WWE has spent time and effort into turning Dean Ambrose heel. Therefore, it was only a matter of time before this storyline twist actually took place.
