Dean Ambrose was a heel when he first made his way to WWE, as a member of The Shield. But since then, he's played the part of the lovable lunatic and really never had a chance to show off the darker aspect of his persona. This week, we saw him finally snap and take the attack to Rollins. This allows him to finally show off just how unhinged he can be.

A lunatic character demands a heel persona. Whether you look at Marty The Moth from Lucha Underground or even Mankind in the mid-90s, both of those characters seemed absolutely at their best when they played heels. Ambrose has a chance to launch his career into orbit mode again.
