Not very long ago, Enzo Amore was the most beloved superstar in current day WWE, by a fair margin. People would buy tickets to the arena, merely to sing along with his catchphrases and root for his tag team with Big Cass.
Fast forward to right now, and the WWE landscape is not the same. Enzo Amore is greeted with boos and has been relegated to the Cruiserweight Division. If anything, he's gone from being the most loved man in WWE to being the most hated.
What caused this seismic shift in opinion, for the Certified G? We have listed 5 reasons that have made him the most despised superstar, not just on screen, but behind the scenes as well.

#5 No Big Cass to hide his weaknesses
In today's day and age, few people who come out of the WWE Performance Center are actually bad workers. The Performance Center focuses on building well-rounded talents, who're adept both in the ring and on the microphone.
Enzo Amore is a big exception to the rule. His wrestling skills are severely lacking, and he is a superstar who's over simply because of his larger than life persona. The reason he was once over, is Big Cass was around to hide his weaknesses between the ropes.
Now that Enzo and Cass are no longer a unit, Amore's weaknesses are laid bare for the world to see. He's one of the most underwhelming performers in the current RAW roster.
Which leads us to our next problem.
#4 Least talented performer in his division
The Cruiserweight Division is a roster that comprises some of the finest wrestlers in the world. And yet, their champion is probably the worst in-ring performer not merely in the division, but in all of WWE.
The Cruiserweight Classic Tournament was a runaway success based on the fact that the men of the division put on compelling matches that simply took our breath away. In Enzo's case, sometimes it seems like he does not even belong in the same ring as the men that he's facing, every week.
This discrepancy not only rubs fans the wrong way, but also the talent who've spent years perfecting their in-ring craft. Some believe that Enzo Amore holding the top prize is an insult to the prestigious WWE Cruiserweight title.
There's a good reason, however, why WWE has entrusted this massive burden on Enzo.
#3 Great at being a heel
If you've been to a WWE Live Event, you know that Enzo Amore does get a pop when he comes out to cut a promo. However, he has the gift of gab and he turns the audience against him immediately. The fact that he's so good at his job sometimes rubs people the wrong way.
Much like the Miz, Enzo is not a very likeable person. It doesn't take much for him to get the crowd to turn on him, at a show. We're sure that kids and adults alike take some of the insults to heart (many are still aware that WWE is scripted entertainment in some parts of the world), and therefore, Enzo Amore gets nuclear heat.
#2 The Liv Morgan incident
Relationships in the wrestling business don't always last. However, the Enzo-Morgan relationship ended on a very bitter note. One where Morgan claimed that Enzo was cheating on her. She didn't say it up front, but her Tweet implied the same.
Of course, Tyler Bate would rush in to offer a shoulder for Morgan to cry upon. However, the damage had been done. Amore fell further in the eyes of the Internet Wrestling Community, following that Tweet.
Now, not only was Enzo Amore a lacklustre performer with nuclear heat, he was a cheat as well. These days, it is impossible to conceal details of one's personal life from the WWE Universe.
#1 Heat with backstage talent
And finally, we come to the root of the issue. The heart of the matter. The crux of the problem. Enzo Amore's mouth.
Enzo is reportedly the same person outside the ring as his on-stage persona. Imagine how irritating that can be to the people around him. This is the reason he was thrown off a bus and not even allowed to dress with the other talent.
We do hope that Enzo Amore manages to overcome the negativity associated with him and establishes himself as a big-time superstar. There are few who can touch him on the microphone.
Let's hope he gets his in-ring work up to speed as well!
