When WWE first announced that NXT would be moving to USA Network at 8 pm on Wednesday nights, effectively beginning the Wednesday Night Wars, I feared that the company would load NXT up with big names.

However, WWE has done a great job in keeping the essence of NXT intact since it moved to USA Network, with Finn Balor being the only main roster name to move to the Black and Gold brand.

Balor's move has been a welcome change for the former Universal Champion, and next, fans will get to see Asuka and Kairi Sane, both NXT alumni, defending the WWE Women's Tag Team Championships this week on the Black and Gold brand.

While I remain steadfast in my belief that WWE should not overload the NXT roster with too many special appearances from main roster talents, names such as Finn Balor, Kairi Sane and Asuka, who are by now "legendary" graduates from brand, are a welcome addition to the "new" NXT.

Names such as Shinsuke Nakamura, Bobby Roode and other WWE stars who are currently floundering on the main roster, could find renewed success with a move back to NXT.
