#1 - Would have elevated his status as a mid-carder

Whether you like it or not, Jordan has all the potential in the world. He looks like a main eventer, wrestles like a main eventer and has all the tools for it. Right now WWE has been taking it slow with his push, and rightfully so.
Having a spot on the Survivor Series card didn't necessarily need to shoot him into the main event spotlight, as it's much too soon. However, it would have boosted him to the upper-mid-card level and by 2018 he would be ready for a full-fledged main event spot.
However, unless they've got something big planned for Jordan heading into WrestleMania 34, it's important that they keep the pace of his push slow, steady and organic. I really hope that he succeeds, because he is a worthy talent deserving of that success.
