Why did WWE not have John Cena face Kurt Angle in his last ever match?

WWE probably want Kurt Angle to go off on a high and it's hard seeing Kurt Angle picking up a win over John Cena. That could have played a big role in why WWE chose Baron Corbin as Angle's last opponent.

Baron Corbin was a thorn in Kurt Angle side when RAW was the General Manager of RAW. The then-commissioner of RAW undermined Angle authority at every turn and eventually played a role in Angle getting put on leave. Corbin then took Angle's place as acting General Manager of RAW.

Angle facing Corbin at WrestleMania will be Angle's chance to shut Corbin up for one last time.
