Apart from just becoming a bigger star, Dean Ambrose has an opportunity to make far more money than he did in WWE. Sure, he's made millions with the company, but All Elite Wrestling presents a new opportunity for him and there's little doubt that they'll shell out a lot of money for him.
Moreover, he can do what The Young Bucks did and expand on merchandise. We're not sure yet what the deals are with superstars in AEW and their merchandise, but if he has an option of putting it on prowrestlingtees, then he can become a merchandising machine.

Gone are the days where WWE was the only option to make money in wrestling. If Ambrose does go to AEW, he'll be surrounded by people who are the living embodiment of what it's like to be successful financially without the WWE umbrella to protect them.
