Could a triple threat match take place to determine new #1 contender?

It is rumored that the reason for the replacement of Kofi Kingston in the WWE title match at Fastlane was done because he could face WWE Champion Daniel Bryan at WrestleMania 35, where he finally will get his big moment after 11 years of his WWE career.

As noted, Owens was first rumored to face Bryan at WrestleMania 35, but with this match taking place at Fastlane, it is possibly making it more clear that Kingston will collide with Bryan at WrestleMania instead.

Meanwhile, Ali, who was replaced by Kingston in the WWE Title match at Elimination Chamber, still deserves a chance at the WWE Championship. So, WWE can make a triple threat match between the trio to determine who will face Bryan at the show of shows.

They can also put a battle royal involving all the SmackDown superstars which would give every SmackDown superstar a fair opportunity. But all of these three superstars have been part of this storyline, so it makes sense to make this match, Ali could take the pinfall in the triple threat match as Kingston heads to the WWE title match at WrestleMania 35.
