#1 Makes all the Champions vulnerable

The winner of the women’s Money in the Bank ladder match will get a chance to compete for a RAW Women's Championship or SmackDown Women's Championship match contract. Similarly, the winner of the men’s MITB match will compete for a contract to grant them a match for either RAW's WWE Championship or SmackDown's Universal Championship.
This wasn’t the case when we drove out of the Royal Rumble where we saw Charlotte Flair win the women’s Royal Rumble match and get pushed by the NXT Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley to come out and challenge her for WrestleMania.
It’s interesting to recall that Ripley and Flair’s rivalry also began during the Survivor Series 2019 season and shook up the entire landscape of WWE.
Adding NXT stars to the MITB match will allow Superstars a chance to go after the NXT Championship and NXT Women’s Championship too or even aim for the NXT United Kingdom Championship.
The winner of the match could end up switching brands to target the Champion of their choosing, leaving a lot of possibilities open and giving WWE a lot of opportunities.
Will Finn Balor win the contract and go after ‘The Fiend’ Bray Wyatt down the line when he’s holding a title? Or can Asuka win the briefcase and head back to NXT to challenge Flair for the NXT Women’s Championship?
These scenarios can be made a possibility if all three brands get a shot at the contract and leave Champions of all three brands vulnerable to a cash-in.
