Randy Orton is a 13-time WWE World Champion. In his career, he has captured other championships along the way, such as the United States, Intercontinental and Tag Team Championships, but it has been a while since the former has held a singles title in WWE. His last title reign was last year when he won the United States Championship.

Since losing it at WrestleMania 34, Orton feuded with various Superstars such as Jeff Hardy, Rey Mysterio and AJ Styles. He had a regular match at the Show of Shows and missed several PPVs this year.

The Viper has defeated a lot of big names in his career, and losing to Kofi Kingston at Clash of Champions will be a major loss for the former. By winning the WWE Championship once again, Orton will return to the title picture and the main event scene; it's about time he does so.
