Logically, out of the 4 contenders announced so far, Ricochet isn't the clear favourite to win the MITB ladder match. Other than being smaller in size, Ricochet is also competing in this match for the first time in his career, while the other 3 have already been a part of the MITB match previously in their careers, with 2 of them even winning it.

Having a dark horse like Ricochet definitely adds to the drama, as if WWE somehow decides to pull the trigger on him and make him Mr Money in the Bank, it'll be a huge shock for everyone.

Ricochet hasn't just impressed the fans in WWE with his wrestling, but also backstage officials, WWE higher authority, and former legends as well.

In the tweet above, you can see The Rock referring to Ricochet as "the leader of the new era". Now that's no smaller achievement to be called a "leader" from the People's Champion and it clearly shows how over Ricochet is.

Triple H has also mentioned many times how highly he rates Ricochet, as he has worked closely with him in NXT before he moved up to the main roster a few months ago.
