Despite Becky Lynch picking up the win in her Triple Threat match against Ronda Rousey and Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 35, the match finish was not without controversy and certainly ended on a cliffhanger.
The finish of the bout saw Becky Lynch perform a backslide pinning combination on Ronda Rousey, however, Rousey's right shoulder came up off the mat while the referee was making the three count, leaving many fans of the belief that Lynch did not successfully pin Rousey. Furthermore, Rousey suffered a legitimate broken hand during the Triple Threat match, giving her yet another reason to return to TV and exact revenge on Lynch.
With the WWE Raw Women's roster thin on challengers for Becky Lynch's Title, the coming weeks would be the perfect time for Ronda Rousey to make her return to WWE TV, setting up a rematch against Becky Lynch which could take place at WWE's next big PPV event, SummerSlam.
