This is perhaps one of the biggest reasons why the feud between Rusev and Nakamura has the potential to become one of the most entertaining rivalries of this era.

Professional wrestling has seen several feuds like this over the years, and although this "Evil Foreign Heel" vs. "American Babyface" storyline may have worked during the Hulk Hogan era in the 1980s, today's fans have grown sick and tired of watching the same storyline being repeated a million times!
Considering that, the feud between reigning United States Champion Shinsuke Nakamura who is Japanese, against the challenger Rusev who is from Bulgaria, is a welcome change on SmackDown Live and in professional wrestling as a whole...Speaking of which...
