While Jinder Mahal’s shocking win got the WWE Universe talking, they haven't really seen him in a favourable light thus far because, much like Baron Corbin, he hardly has any experience being a top level star.
Randy Orton has been unexciting in the recent past, and while he still gets cheered, he's not been lighting the world on fire.
Much of the WWE Universe wants to see Sami Zayn in the top spot of the company and he’d be a welcome change after the lacklustre Jinder-Orton feud. Sami Zayn is a champion that the whole WWE Universe wants, and could also possibly help ratings, which is plummeting to record lows right now.
