If you've been watching SmackDown Live lately, you must have noticed that Sami Zayn has been booked as little more than a comedy figure. When among other babyfaces like AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura, Zayn unloads a verbal assault of nonsense, while Styles and Nakamura exchange glances among themselves, showing Zayn in odd light indeed.
It’s only a matter of time before Zayn is seen as just another comedy figure on the show.
He needs the legitimacy of the Money in the Bank briefcase and the subsequent title, to be seen as someone who can be taken as a serious contender. If not, he may end up in a bear costume too!
