Let's face it. Brock Lesnar is one of the most protected Champion's in WWE history and at this point, 'The Beast' has run through just about every top babyface in WWE.
He's beaten Braun Strowman, AJ Styles, Roman Reigns and Finn Balor amongst others and there are no legitimate babyface challengers left. However, as I pointed out before, Rollins took the title off Brock Lesnar at WrestleMania 31. He's also one of the top babyfaces on RAW and one of the most popular stars on the red brand.
Add to this that Rollins has been in the form of his life for over a year and this makes it an easy booking decision for WWE. The fans are behind Rollins and they also need a top babyface to take Roman Reigns' place until he gets healthy. Rollins is already there in popularity and all he needs is to beat Lesnar at WrestleMania to cement himself.
