#2 Helps in keeping McIntyre's momentum going

Drew McIntyre has been on an absolute roll since winning the Men's Royal Rumble Match in January this year. Not only has the Scottish Psychopath held his own in faceoffs against Brock Lesnar in the lead-up to their match at WrestleMania, he has also decimated every other Superstar in his way.
McIntyre also claimed the WWE Championship in explosive fashion after delivering three straight Claymore Kicks to The Beast Incarnate. Thus, he has a lot of momentum going for him right now that the company needs to preserve and that will only happen if he's facing the absolute best Superstars on the roster. Seth Rollins belongs to the said category.
WWE have already seen how Becky Lynch's 'The Man' gimmick had started to wear off last year after WrestleMania because of a lackluster feud with Lacey Evans. They would not want to repeat the same mistake with McIntyre and so, WWE need to avoid putting up mediocre opponents in front of the Scotsman.
