#4 A move to RAW or SmackDown is in the cards

Shayna Baszler joined NXT over two years ago in July 2017. Since then, we’ve seen her become one of the most lethal women in wrestling. Less than a year later in April, she won her first NXT Women’s Championship which she held for almost five months. Her second reign came soon after, as she defeated the same woman who previously bested her for the title, Kairi Sane.
In all this, Baszler became a brand of her own in NXT, and each appearance helped her become a more iconic character on the Black & Gold brand. During the build-up to Survivor Series, Baszler was effectively shown as a force who could take down any woman in sight.
With her second NXT Women’s Championship coming to an end in December, one can safely say that she has achieved it all in NXT, and beaten just about every Superstar in the process. Now that Rhea Ripley is the NXT Women's Champion, Baszler needs to move on to find more challenges and more competitors and she can only do that on RAW and SmackDown.
As we see fresher faces appear in NXT, Baszler seems to be too strong of a competitor for newer Superstars. RAW and SmackDown house some of the most talented wrestlers in the industry, and Baszler can really match up well with them. This will especially be true, if she wins the Royal Rumble and picks one of the brand’s top champions to compete with.
