#4 Daniel Bryan was given the rest of the year off to recover

Last week may have been the last we've seen of Daniel Bryan for 2019. It's unfortunate, we know, but just like any person with a job, time off is always essential. For Daniel Bryan, WWE will be even more inclined to give him time off because they know that they have to be careful with protecting him and making sure he doesn't suffer any major physical injury.

Moreover, they would be virtually guaranteed to have a stipulation match at TLC and they probably didn't want Bryan to be taking any major bumps before the year ends. As a result of that, they realized that giving him December off to recover from any potentially niggling injuries.

This is, of course, more speculation but given the incredible year that Daniel Bryan has had in 2019, he certainly deserves a month off to spend time with his family. He's been an integral part of WWE programming throughout the year, both as a heel and a babyface.
