An inevitable clash again

It's crazy to think that it was only this time last year when AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan were having an incredible feud for the WWE title. That feud is now Daniel Bryan vs The Fiend and it's for the other World Championship.

Incredibly, Bryan is still in the World title picture after all this time, but for those who have followed him for all these years, it's no surprise that he still performs at the highest level.

Either way, giving him time off for the rest of the month is the perfect set-up for him to return early in January and return for a major Royal Rumble rivalry. Perhaps it would be best for Bryan to return at the end of the year, but SmackDown is strong enough where they can go a few weeks without him.

Royal Rumble is the perfect place to restart the feud and conclude it in a big way as well.
