The only team other than New Day and Usos that posed a real threat to Miz and Morrison's championship reign was Heavy Machinery. The recent love triangle between Dolph Ziggler, Mandy Rose, and Otis has got Otis and Rose insanely over with the fans, so it would not have been a surprise had Heavy Machinery entered the tag title picture. Seeing the developments on this week's episode, we can be sure that we have not seen the last of Otis vs Ziggler, and this is a program that may very well go on till SummerSlam.
Now, with Heavy Machinery out of the mix, it was logical for the New Day to win the titles. The New Day can continue feuding against the former champs, or the Forgotten Sons, or even the Artist Collective. The New Day can be defeated by Miz and Morrison yet again, with Heavy Machinery finally stepping up to the challenge. Even if the New Day are the champions, a face vs face program between New Day and Heavy Machinery will be very entertaining.
