Let’s say that WWE had plans for The Rock vs Roman Reigns at WrestleMania, but Reigns’ unexpected illness forced them to scrap the idea.

Maybe, it is why Roman Reigns isn’t facing his cousin at the Grandest Stage Of Them All. And maybe, WWE still wants this match to take place, possibly next year at WrestleMania 36.

However, nothing could be said as of now, and this is just mere speculation of mine. But, there’s a small possibility that The Rock may return next year in WWE if everything goes right.

The semi-retired superstar has already expressed how much he misses WWE ring and can’t wait to return.

Although I doubt if they both could work according to our expectations. The Rock is a Hollywood superstar, and if he gets injured during his match, then it would create a hell of trouble for many others.
