The World Heavyweight Title's heritage can be traced back to the first world heavyweight championship, thereby giving the belt a legacy over 100 years old, making it the oldest in the world. It was, therefore, a very significant title in the Wrestling business.
The Undertaker made history in 2008 when he became the first and only challenger to compete for the World Heavyweight Championship, the famous title introduced by Eric Bischoff in 2002, at back-to-back WrestleManias and win the belt on both occasions.

And while Stone Cold Steve Austin was crowned the new champion at both WrestleMania 14 and 15, that was the old WWF Championship, rather than the revived World Heavyweight title.
