5 reasons why the Women's Tag Team Championships are being introduced 

#4 Because of the amount of Tag Teams in the current roster

Not everyone is going to reach Ronda Rousey or Asuka level!

Look at the number of women who can potentially form Tag Teams in the main roster. On RAW, you have Sasha Banks and Bayley, Nia Jax and Tamina Snuka and The Riott Squad. Ember Moon and Ronda Rousey could also team up, as could Natalya and Ember Moon, potentially. The possibilities are actually quite many.

And the same could happen on SmackDown Live as well. We could see the IIconics, Mandy Rose and Sonya Deville, as well as Asuka and Naomi, go for the gold someday in the future. It isn't too far-fetched to imagine that Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair could maybe team up as well.

When you have so much talent in the main roster, the situation demands a brand new Championship. And so, these titles have been revived.
