#3 Tired formula
We’ve seen it all before: part timer 1 faces part timer 2 on the grandest stage of them all, and the crowd goes mild. Sure, it’s a good idea in terms of garnering a pop or two out of the audience, but after a while, it just starts to become a little bit sad. We’ve seen this kind of thing happen time and time again and for some reason, WWE refuses to take responsibility for that.
In addition to that, we’ve also seen Triple H and Kurt Angle square off numerous times. In the late 90s and early noughties they were featured as two of the biggest stars in the company, and unsurprisingly, that led to many showdowns both on WWE TV and on pay per view. Their matches were definitely entertaining, but we don’t need to see it again.
