Whether the fans like it or not, Brock Lesnar will be remembered in history as the man who did the impossible and achieved what other superstars before him failed to.Since then, we have not heard from the Deadman and there haven’t been positive rumours about a return. While he continues to be in the dark, new main eventers such as Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins have emerged as favourites to feud against The Beast Incarnate. Other options also include fan-favourite Daniel Bryan, who is still in his injury recovery phase while there have also been talks about The Rock returning and facing Lesnar at the grandest stage.But amongst all of these speculations and anticipations, it would be unwise to count out a realistic rematch between Taker and Brock at the Wrestlemania 31 event. Judging from the history between these two superstars, Lesnar can be the rarest of Taker’s opponents who can claim to have a better head-to-head record. In the time frame between Lesnar ending Taker’s Streak and him becoming the WWE World Heavyweight champion, Paul Heyman constantly reminded and rambled on about what his client achieved every time he had the microphone in his hands. Now you do have to ask what was the motive behind this continuous reminding when it has been months already since the match got over. And on another note, when is the last time anyone in the WWE sold a win or loss the way Heyman has?

Since his loss at WrestleMania 30, there has been no trace of Taker in the WWE. There were reports about him still being a bad shape and suffering from the effects of his match with Lesnar. Perhaps he has already decided that it is the right time to hang up his boots. If he could work for one more match, nothing could be bigger than facing the “Beast Incarnate” again who ended his streak.

Fans should be given a better opportunity to bid farewell to the superstar that has been a huge part of the WWE for more than two decades. It will be just what the company needs to give fans closure and a perfect ending to a mythical career of The Phenom.
