#5 The next big heel in the company

Drew McIntyre could become the next big heel.
Drew McIntyre could become the next big heel.

Let's look back at the history of the past Money in the Bank Ladder match winners. Most of the superstars were heels or they turned heel after cashing in their contracts. Drew McIntyre is currently playing a heel in WWE. During the build of his feud with Roman Reigns for WrestleMania 35, McIntyre was portrayed as a huge dominant heel, picking up convincing wins over Dean Ambrose, and also beating Seth Rollins in the build-up to the Showcase of the Immortals.

But after losing that match, McIntyre has once again lost his momentum. He once again teamed up with Corbin and Lashley to lose to The Shield recently. The Scottish Psychopath was teased as part of the SmackDown roster before the Superstar Shake-up, but he stayed put on RAW without much direction. Now the best way to bring McIntyre back into the dominant heel character is by having him win this year's Men's Money in the Bank contract.
