#2. Kofi Kingston has had a great run as champion regardless

Is this the end of the dream run?

For those of you that started wishing for Kofi Kingston's WWE Championship reign to end after Clash of Champions - you got exactly what you want. Nobody expected in the beginning of the year that Kingston would even enter World title contendership, let alone have a strong 6-month reign as WWE Champion.

That's even longer than Jinder Mahal and he has been WWE Champion for longer than Batista and Roman Reigns put together. This run will always be an unforgettable one and the initial thought after he won it was that it would simply be a token WWE title reign to keep fans happy until they put the championship on someone they feel they can rely on.

But to WWE's credit, they really kept the ball rolling with Kingston and gave him an extensive reign as champion, where we have seen him step up to the plate like never before. For Kingston, this may very well be the greatest run of his career as a singles star and he deserved every bit of it.

The reality is that none of us have any right to complain when he has had a much longer reign than we expected.
