Shane McMahon has already beaten many Superstars since he turned heel. He is using his power for his own good and that’s something the fans don’t like about the McMahons. He is probably the most hated Superstar on SmackDown Live and it’s a good thing from WWE’s perspective. However, if he defeats Kevin Owens at SummerSlam then not only will Owens have to quit WWE, but his momentum will also get destroyed.

Did you know a top WWE Superstar just wrestled outside the company? More details HERE

So far WWE has handled him (as a face) in a perfect way but to keep the ball rolling, they have to let him win some matches, especially against the likes of Shane-O-Mac. A victory over a McMahon is clearly going to benefit anybody who gets it and since Owens is already a fan favorite, it would help him a lot more than others.
