#2 A typical retirement match rule

There is an unwritten rule that a wrestler has to lose his retirement match.
I know that Kurt Angle's fans want him to beat Baron Corbin at the Shows Of Shows, but this goes against this rule. Often a veteran superstar retires against talents that need a lot of momentum. However, that's not the case with Corbin. Even though he isn't a fan-favorite wrestler, but it doesn't mean that he doesn't have momentum. WWE made him an acting general manager for a reason.
So Angle could also lose for this one reason - it's his retirement match. It doesn't matter whether he wins or not; the Olympic Gold Medallist won't wrestle another match. So it's better that he loses his match and continue this tradition.
As much as I hate to say this but we have to digest the fact that Corbin is going to retire Angle - probably by winning over him.
