#4 Too early
Another problem with the idea of breaking up The Shield is that its happening too early on, which means that WWE hasn't really had a chance to build a story around it. Sure, WWE tried to plant seeds of Dean Ambrose turning on his Shield brethren, but chose to do so in the most painfully childish way ever.
With that being said, WWE choosing to capitalize on Ambrose not currently holding any gold around his waist makes him look like a total chump. Furthermore, it makes the storyline feel unrealistic, which is yet another reason why WWE needs to pump the breaks on this idea for now.

In the end, there just isn't enough time to tell a good story yet and the one that WWE is trying to tell seems ridiculous. Why would WWE choose to point out that he is actively staying loyal to The Shield at the expense of his career? Is that really what WWE is going to do to try to make fans pick sides? Is this all they have?
