If you saw the go-home show of SmackDown before Money in the Bank, the three contenders from SmackDown- King Corbin, Daniel Bryan, and Otis would scuffle it out in the ring to capture the Money in the Bank briefcase. Of course, it was a pointless exercise, but what we saw during the course of the whole fight is that no ladder could support Otis. So, a lot of fans may have dismissed the notion that Otis actually stood a chance, as a result.

Otis wins by accident
Otis had similar issues during the main event match at Money in the Bank as well, but it was King Corbin and AJ Styles who basically both had ownership of the briefcase before it slipped their grasp and fell into Otis' waiting hands. It was a really cool moment at a time when heart-warming moments are rare in the world.
Otis may not look like the face of the company but at the rate that he's going, who is going to stop him?
