#4 The Reality Era
WWE has been experimenting with reality-based storytelling over the past couple of years and it is honestly one of the best things about the overall product right now. Not only is that evident by the big money feuds WWE put on between Ronda Rousey, Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair, but also by some of the other storylines they currently have in the works.
Think about it! WWE has already gotten more and more personal with their storytelling over time especially with feuds like Hardy and Joe, Rousey and Lynch, and Dolph Ziggler's latest storyline, which points to WWE doing it more and more in the future. If nothing else, this creates an anything can happen kind of feel to any WWE show and will thus pay dividends.

Who knows! Maybe AEW will combat this kind of storytelling with something unique of their own, but their ability to do that while dealing with all the other problems on this list might just prove to be too much for them. In fact, if AEW doesn't have a swift answer to WWE's reality-based storytelling and breaking kayfabe, WWE might just win by default.
