#2 Bigger Stars
Let's be honest here.
AEW might have indie stars like Kenny Omega, The Young Bucks, Cody Rhodes and former WWE stars like Dean Ambrose and Chris Jericho, but WWE still has the biggest star power here. In fact, between still having stars like The Undertaker, Goldberg, John Cena, Brock Lesnar, and AJ Styles, you can easily see how the scale tips in WWE's favor here.

Beyond that, WWE seems to have a more established roster with stars like Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Finn Balor, Kofi Kingston, Daniel Bryan, Becky Lynch, which makes AEW's roster kind of pale in comparison.
Now that's not to say they don't have some star, especially with guys like Jericho, Jon Moxley and Jim Ross, but again, not as much as WWE.
In the end, WWE knows how to use their star power and will no doubt continue to do so in order to make AEW into a nonfactor once again.
Furthermore, WWE also has a plethoria of other former WWE stars that they can convince to come back like CM Punk, AJ Lee, Batista, and others, which only serve to give WWE more of an advantage.
