Despite being a heel in the USA, Shinsuke Nakamura received a hero's welcome in Japan this year, and even teamed up with Triple H.

The WWE has been aggressively seeking to expand its influence in the Japanese wrestling market for years. They really stepped up their efforts first by hiring Asuka, and giving her a legendary winning streak which may never be broken.

Then they upped the ante by hiring one of the most celebrated Japanese wrestlers of all time, The King of Strong Style, Shinsuke Nakamura. Though many fans are upset that Nakamura isn't featured in the main event as often as he possibly deserves to be, his mere presence is a great marketing tool for the Japanese wrestling fandom.

Hiring Kazuchika Okada will be even more incentive for the Japanese wrestling fans to follow WWE product. This is just another reason why WWE needs Okada under contract.
