Has there been any particular storyline that the WWE Universe has enjoyed in recent times? If you think about it, you can probably count it on one hand. It's been a sticking point with WWE fans for a while. The fans have made their voices heard several times. For instance, remember the poorly executed Mandy Rose-Jimmy Uso hotel segment? It turned into a wash and was poorly contrived.

That is one amongst many stories. It could be due to the fact that as WWE has grown, so has the creative structure with a multitude of backstage producers, writers and cameramen. Like a pyramid, the original idea gets diluted once it gets into the hands of the talent.

In the old days, there wasn't a large backstage staff but rather just Vince McMahon, a couple of backstage writers, and cameramen. But sometimes, things don't change for the better.
