Ronda Rousey might be the most dominant women in WWE right now, but nothing can last forever and sooner or later the company will be forced to take the Raw Women's title belt off of the baddest women on the planet. Unfortunately for Rousey, it seems like the title change could be coming at the Royal Rumble pay per view.

Of course, WWE could always decide against this move, especially since they have been known to change their minds many times before an event takes place, but there are a lot of things that seem to signal it happening at the first big four pay per view of the year. Furthermore, all signs also point to it happening it spectacular fashion as well.

With that being said and the Royal Rumble still a couple of weeks away, here are five reasons WWE will have Ronda Rousey lose the Raw women's title at Royal Rumble.

As always, let us know your thoughts in the comments below and also be sure to let us know who you think will walk out of the pay per view with the Raw Women's title.

#5 Perfect way to prepare Raw for life without Rousey

Is Sasha Banks destined to be the next Raw Women's champion?
Is Sasha Banks destined to be the next Raw Women's champion?

While Sasha Banks has toiled away in the midcard for much of the past year or so, she is also a multiple time Raw Women's champion and arguably the best person on the entire roster for Rousey to lose her title to. Not only is that evident by her being a cornerstone of Monday Night Raw for years now, but also her role in the Women's revolution.

If nothing else, Rousey losing to Banks would be a lot more believable than her dropping it to Ember Moon or one of the other women on the Raw roster and also sets up the red brand perfectly for life without Rousey.

In the end, WWE needs to weigh their options with Rousey possibly leaving Raw later in the year and this puts them in the best position moving forward.

#4 Creates wide open title picture on Raw

Expect Ember Moon and other women on Raw to take advantage of the wide-open title picture!

Another reason WWE probably wants to get the title off of Ronda Rousey at the Royal Rumble is the fact that it will set up a wide-open title picture on Raw in the process. It also goes along with WWE's promise of creating new and interesting matchups, which is another reason why the move will most likely be received positively among fans.

Of course, some fans might be upset about Sasha Banks being the one to finally hand Rousey her first loss, but again, it's better than the baddest women on the planet losing to a less established star. In fact, with Banks having the most title runs under her belt on Raw, it would most likely be the most believable move WWE has.

In the end, it's not like the company can't sneak in some shenanigans along the way during the championship match and they have already done a great job of building up Banks as a legitimate contender in the meantime.

3 Allows WWE to move Rousey to Smackdown Live

Could Ronda Rousey be moving to Smackdown Live in 2019?
Could Ronda Rousey be moving to Smackdown Live in 2019?

Rumors have been circulating about Ronda Rousey moving to Smackdown Live later in the year, and the only way to really do that is to first have her lose the Raw Women's title. That way, Rousey is freed up from the Raw title picture and can then make the rumored move to Smackdown Live to face Lynch at WrestleMania 35.

Of course, WWE could always choose not to go through with the title change, but there are certain risks involved with doing that. The first is that it means less time for the company to establish a new star in Rousey's place on Raw, and the second is that it would almost certainly mean WWE isn't going through with Rousey versus Lynch at Mania.

In the end, and from every imaginable angle, Rousey losing the title at The Royal Rumble just makes the most sense. Not only does it free her up from the Raw title picture, give Lynch a chance to get her heat back by screwing her out of the title and set up their match at WrestleMania 35, it also is an excuse to do the rumored move to Smackdown Live.

#2 Timing

Admit it. The Royal Rumble would be the best place for Ronda Rousey to drop the title.
Admit it. The Royal Rumble would be the best place for Ronda Rousey to drop the title.

It's all about timing and there are several reasons why the timing is perfect for Ronda Rousey to lose the Women's title at the Royal Rumble. Not only is that evident by the Royal Rumble being one of the biggest pay per views of the year and a great place to crown a new champion, it also helps set up a plethora of matches in the meantime.

Think about it! WWE only has a few pay per views to go before WrestleMania 35 later this year and the best place to establish a new champion heading into the big event would be at The Royal Rumble. At least that way, it would be a big accomplishment for Bank's career and instantly establishes her credibility as she heads into WrestleMania as champion.

Of course, WWE could always choose to do the title change at another pay per view or even on Monday Night Raw if they absolutely wanting to, but one would have to wonder if the moment would have anywhere near the same impact. One also has to wonder if WWE could find another suitable opponent for Rousey on Raw, which could be difficult given the current crop of unproven talent.

With that being said, the Royal Rumble just seems like the perfect time to crown Sasha Banks as champion and take the title away from Ronda Rousey. Again, it's also a great way to kick off the road to WrestleMania and build up a lot of suspense along the way, which is another reason why this is the perfect time to do it!

#1 Sets up dream match between Rousey and Lynch

Lynch versus Rousey at WrestleMania 35. Who wins?
Lynch versus Rousey at WrestleMania 35. Who wins?

Let's be honest her - Ronda Rousey versus Becky Lynch is the match everyone wants to see at WrestleMania 35 and WWE most likely wants to start setting that up at the Royal Rumble pay per view. Of course how exactly WWE does this is still up in the air, but one would have to imagine that it would start with Lynch costing Rousey the title at the Royal Rumble.

With that being said and WWE seemingly working towards the aforementioned dream match at WrestleMania 35, it makes perfect sense for Rousey to lose the title to Banks at The Royal Rumble to set up the dream match. It also gives Lynch a chance to get her heat back after losing the Smackdown Live Women's title at TLC, which is another important plot point.

In all honesty, Rousey losing the title in spectacular fashion at the Royal Rumble is the best way to go about this and really gives WWE the final piece of the puzzle that they need to set up Rousey versus Lynch at WrestleMania 35. Furthermore, it again gives the WWE Universe an OMG moment that will only serve to hook them on Lynch versus Rousey!
