5 Reasons why WWE may replace Adam Pearce in the Royal Rumble match against Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns vs. Adam Pearce will be booked as a special attraction match, not because Adam Pearce lacks the ability to work a long and engaging contest but because of the way that he has been presented.

The issue here is that it will be the same case with Goldberg as well, provided Drew McIntyre is back in time to face him at the Royal Rumble. Goldberg is no Daniel Bryan between the ropes, and when the bell rings, his match too will be a special attraction, filled with smoke and mirrors.

Fans may prefer to see Roman Reigns tear it up with someone like Rey Mysterio or Daniel Bryan because, otherwise, now they will have 2 matches on the card which won't be your traditional competitive bout. This is why Vince McMahon may choose to replace Adam Pearce in this contest.
