5 Reasons WWE Needs Drake Maverick As A Heel Manager

Maverick and EC3 had great chemistry in Impact Wrestling.

There are a number of WWE Superstars who could benefit from a manager like Drake Maverick. The Authors of Pain come immediately to mind since they fired Paul Ellering after their Raw debut.

But let’s face it, Ellering is gone because he probably didn’t want to commit to a full-time WWE schedule. The veteran manager was on the road for years as a part of the legendary Legion of Doom.

Ethan Carter III is another name that comes to mind. EC3 and Maverick had great chemistry when they worked together in Impact Wrestling.

EC3 is still in NXT but his main roster debut could be more impactful with the help of Maverick as his manager.

Pairing Maverick with Shinsuke Nakamura would also make a lot of sense. Nakamura has done a good job with promos despite the language barrier. However, Maverick could help add another layer to Nakamura’s heel character.
