The first night of the 2019 WWE Draft saw Becky Lynch (RAW) and Roman Reigns (SmackDown) chosen as the first and second draft picks, respectively. Two years on, it would not be surprising if both superstars feature in the top two spots again if another WWE Draft occurs in October.
Before the 2019 WWE Draft, RAW was known as WWE’s number one weekly show. Nowadays, SmackDown is viewed by the majority of fans as WWE’s most entertaining show, hence why it usually outperforms RAW in the television ratings.

RAW desperately needs more star power if its ratings and overall product is going to improve. To help do that, WWE will almost certainly move some top names from SmackDown to RAW in the next round of roster changes.
Roman Reigns is undoubtedly the biggest full-time star in WWE right now. Along with Becky Lynch, Reigns frequently appeared on RAW and SmackDown in 2019 as WWE attempted to draw more eyes to both shows.
Although fans would likely prefer Reigns to stay on SmackDown, his presence on RAW would definitely make the show feel must-see once again. It would also open up a spot for another superstar (i.e. Becky Lynch) to emerge as SmackDown’s top heel.

Danny Hart is a journalist who has been reporting on pro wrestling (WWE) at Sportskeeda since 2017. He grew up as a massive fan of football/soccer and wrestling, leading him to pursue a career in sports journalism.
Before assuming his current role, Hart worked as a football writer at Goal.com between 2009 and 2016. He prides himself on writing original content that is fact-based and highly accurate. Hart thoroughly proofreads his work before submitting it and relies only on credible sources for information.
Hart’s favorite pro wrestler is The Undertaker. He admires the 2022 WWE Hall of Famer’s ability to reinvent his character and remain relevant across his decades-long career. If given the keys to WWE’s creative department, he would bring back The Phenom for a farewell bout against AJ Styles in a stadium full of fans. Not only that, but he would love to have the multi-time world champion’s greatest rivals seated at ringside for the spectacle.
When not watching and covering sports, Hart enjoys long-distance running, playing video games, and listening to audiobooks and podcasts.
