And for me an hour is the perfect amount of time for a pro wrestling show. Fans of NXT will be able to attest to how much you can really condense into an hour format and yet still feel like every segment had room to breathe. In a world where the 'traditional' television format sits between 2 hours (AEW, Smackdown, NXT on USA Network) and 3+ hours (Monday Night RAW) to be able to sit down and enjoy and episode of a television show (because that is what this is) in an hour is a breath of fresh air.

If you look at the broader format of television shows in the general, the most popular and longest running tend to hover around the 45 minutes to 1 hour mark. Be it Breaking Bad, Handmaid's Tale or Game of Thrones (which suffered when episodes started going longer) the ideal amount of time to keep an audience interested and invested in what happens next is an hour.
