Not every decision from WWE in recent times makes sense
#2 Why did WWE decide to pair Lacey Evans and Peyton Royce?

This chick thinks she’s on broadway or something 🤦🏼♀️ bless her cotton socks she doesn’t understand what it means to be in a tag team 🥴YOU’RE IN MY WAY!!!!! 😤 https://t.co/SEw72cFdjQ
As fun as it is to see a misfit tag team such as Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler, who aren't necessarily on the same page, or Cesaro and Sheamus who became a cohesive unit after waging more than one war in the WWE roster, there is a charm to a specialist tag team unit such as The Street Profits.
The IIconics were the only such tag team in the entire WWE roster, on either RAW or SmackDown, unless you count The Riott Squad which split up and came together again for no rhyme or reason.
So now, coming to the problem at hand, why were The IIconics split up just so that Peyton Royce could be put into another makeshift tag team with Lacey Evans, a woman that has little in common with Royce?
It's a step down for both of these women, both of whom could do so much more as singles stars and actually have competitive matches with Asuka, someone who genuinely needs these feuds.
