The women of WWE had become accustomed to quick two minute matches back in 2015, but the Women's Revolution has been on their side over the past few years and has meant that last night's match was the longest female wrestling match in WWE history. The match's official time according to WWE.com was 58 minutes and 57 seconds.
The women wrestled for almost an hour in the main event of last night's show which is double what the record was before, since Sasha and Bayley collided in a 30-minute Ironwoman match at NXT Takeover: Respect, before Charlotte and Sasha also did the honours at Roadblock: End of the Line back in 2016. In ordinary matches, it seems that 16 minutes and 52 seconds is the longest women's match to date, which was another match between Charlotte and Sasha Banks.
